Get ready to throw down for a good cause: The Church Health Center's annual Rock for Love music festival starts Thursday, September 3 and runs through Sunday, September 6.
This year, Rock for Love has packed three days with live music from a few dozen of Memphis' finest musical acts. All of the musicians are donating their time and talent so that 100 percent of the proceeds can go to the Church Health Center, an organization that provides healthcare to Memphis' working uninsured. Last year, Rock for Love raised $50,000.
Here's the full Rock for Love 9 schedule of events. I'll update this with times and additional info as it becomes available.
Sunday, August 30: Huey's Unofficial Kickoff Party
The Huey's midtown location hosts an annual unofficial kick-off party one week before Rock For Love proper. Enjoy live music by The Chaulkies and know that a portion of beer sales will be donated to the CHC
